Upstairs Library/Den ...

The library/den, located upstairs, now houses many of the eclectic items that originally decorated the Napa cottage when we lived there. It also offers a place to display items Mommy got at various estate auctions in the area where we now live. These items did not fit well with the decor of the new home we live in so they have been given their own room to be displayed in.

The purple shelf and coffee table came from Mommy's Napa cottage. The rest of the items were gotten at various estate auctions.

Famous Iowa artist Grant Wood's art "Spring in Town", left, and "America Gothic" are displayed above the sofa in the library/den.

An electric fireplace keeps things cozy during the winter months in the library/den.

Antique settee works nice in the sitting area of the library/den.
Carving on the back rest of the settee and red/ivory toile upholstery add a bit of charm to the settee, as shown above.
