Back side patio off of breezeway ...

Daddy has two grill so he can choose either Charcoal or Gas grilling options, or both depending how many people he is feeding.

Sitting area for relaxing.

Table and chairs.

The furniture Mommy originally got for her cottage in Napa moved with us to Iowa. This furniture has found a new home on the side patio off of the sun room breezeway. It makes a nice sitting area and BBQ area for outdoor family eating and relaxing.

Upstairs Kitty Nursery.

The spare room has been converted into Robert's kitty nursery/lounging area where he can relax and hang out when he feels like taking a break from the humans that share the house with him.

Antique Four Winds quilt is more than 100 years old.

Upstairs Library/Den ...

The library/den, located upstairs, now houses many of the eclectic items that originally decorated the Napa cottage when we lived there. It also offers a place to display items Mommy got at various estate auctions in the area where we now live. These items did not fit well with the decor of the new home we live in so they have been given their own room to be displayed in.

The purple shelf and coffee table came from Mommy's Napa cottage. The rest of the items were gotten at various estate auctions.

Famous Iowa artist Grant Wood's art "Spring in Town", left, and "America Gothic" are displayed above the sofa in the library/den.

An electric fireplace keeps things cozy during the winter months in the library/den.

Antique settee works nice in the sitting area of the library/den.
Carving on the back rest of the settee and red/ivory toile upholstery add a bit of charm to the settee, as shown above.
